OVERVIEW
State Engineering Corporation of Sri Lanka, was established in 1962 under Industrial Corporation’s Act and has been consistently ranked as one of the leading Engineering and Construction Organizations in Sri Lanka with C1 categorization from CIDA. It has contributed to the Nation in large scale design & Construction, Training of Engineers, Technicians and other related professionals.
SEC is the only government construction organization certified with ISO 9001:2015 QMS, ISO 14001:2015 EMS, & ISO 45001:2018 OHSAS. The ISO scope is for construction of building and civil engineering works including pilling roads and bridges, manufacture of pre-cast concrete products and prefabricated building, fabrication of metal frame and structures, manufacture of lime, clay bricks and timber products. SEC have been obtained ISO 9001:2015, 14001:2015 & 45001:2018 certification for providing of buildings, civil engineering and architectural consultancy and mechanical and electrical engineering services including bridges. SEC can proudly say that we are the only Semi Government Engineering Organization which has survived more than 57 years with ups and downs due to varies of government economic policies.
SEC has completed & handed over several Government Projects in the recent past. Such as Head Office Building for Civil Aviation Authority, Design & Build for Court complex at Wattala, Design and Build of Housing scheme at Lunawa, Design & Build for Housing scheme at Angoda, Design and Build for Ayurvedha Drugs Corporation at Nawinna, Refurbishment of Ranviyavana at Sri Dalada Maligawa, Bureau of Foreign employment complex at kattaragama, Wards complex at Hospital Pollonnaruwa, Design & Faculty Building at Univesity of Rajarata, Hospital at Meegahatenna, Market complex at Bandaragama, Building for National Institute for Social Development etc.
